Becoming

'Becoming' is a print made from an image that suddenly came to mind as I was watching telly late, I had to grab a bit of paper to sketch down before the image disappeared.
I've made many horse prints in the last few years, this one, I think was influenced by Greek fables I've been reading, where the gods transform humans into animals, but the process of personal metamorphasis, growth and revelation is something I explore in my art. I've had experiences of unexpected connection and communication with wild animals and this is a bit about that too.
